The bad man power in Jamaica is built on the tenets of fear. The bad man tears down the emotional fortitude of members of his community by recounting and boasting of his nefarious deeds. He alone is lord where he is from and he fears no one but the police.
A community cannot fight against a brother, a friend, a child who elders knew from he was a baby or you neighbour that you have known your entire life. It is easier for a community to pretend not to be privy to his wrongdoings. It is safer for them to turn a blind eye when one;s frail existence subsists in such an fragile environment. How can you turn on someone who lives in such close proximity to you, who at any time can engender your demise and send you into permanent oblivion.
Some people think that crime will get them out of poverty.
Crime leads to poverty; it’s a dangerous cycle which if we are not careful will span generations. It is a proven fact if we would open our eyes and look around that children of crime often grow up to become like their parents and we never really escape the cycle of poverty. It is not a way out, it is a way to ones Grave.
bad mind is never really about taking away your things, its centrally about preventing you from experiencing the social experiences, respect or any feelings of self satisfaction that you might get from possession of the asset so when you die,people believe for the most part that they have won...not understanding that there is no victory in death. It is not about taking away your most prize possession, which is your life, it is about denying you any satisfaction or enjoying of your material accumulations People who are badmind are largley ignorant and stupid.
